Policies and fees
What you agree to when you join: the terms, every fee with its number, what we keep about you, what cannot list, and how money comes back. Numbered, so a case can point at one line.
Selivont is a marketplace run from Florida, in the United States. These terms are the agreement between you and Selivont ("we"). The sales and trades on it are between members: a seller sells, a buyer buys, and Selivont runs the site, holds the money on a sale until it is released, and decides cases. support@selivont.com reaches a person.
By ticking the box when you join — or when we ask you to agree to a new version — you agree to these terms and to the other four documents on this page: the fees, the privacy policy, what cannot list, and the refund rules. Each agreement is recorded with its version, the time and the device it came from. If you do not agree, do not use Selivont; you can close your account in Settings at any time.
Anyone 13 or older can have an account — one per person, with real details on it, and an ID can be verified on only one account. Everyone confirms their email with a code. Buying, listing, trading and posting clips also need an ID check: a photo of a government ID and a selfie, run by Stripe, who tell us whether it passed and the date of birth on the document. Stripe only checks adults, so in practice those open at 18; under 18 you can browse, save listings, post wants, follow traders and watch live shows. Selling for cash, hosting a live show, local pickups, live chat, clip comments and guestbooks need 18+ on your ID, and messages and calls need both sides verified 18+. Orders ship only within the United States, and selling needs a US bank account through Stripe.
Keep your password to yourself. Signing in on a new device needs a code we email you; a device you choose to remember skips it for 30 days. When your email is changed, the old address is sent a link that puts it back, signs every other device out and sets a new password — it works once, for 7 days. You are responsible for what happens on your account until you tell us it was taken — Settings can sign you out everywhere and forget every remembered device. An account whose email is never confirmed is removed after 7 days. Second accounts made to get around a limit, a ruling or a closure are closed.
The price on a listing is the item's price. Checkout adds buyer protection, card processing, shipping and sales tax, each on its own line, and the total shown there is the total charged. The money is held in Selivont's Stripe account — the seller does not have it — until it is released. The seller has 3 days to seal the condition record and ship with tracking, or the order refunds itself. When it arrives, mark it arrived: you then have 72 hours to confirm or open a case, and if you do neither the money is released. A local pickup runs the same way, with the hand-over recorded by the six-digit code on your order. The minimum order is $15. When a seller accepts your offer, the listing is held for you at that price for 24 hours; pay in that time or it goes back on sale at its listed price. An offer nobody answers expires on its own, and whoever made it is emailed when it does.
List only what you own and have in hand, described honestly, flaws declared. You set the price and the shipping size; the buyer pays that shipping and all of it is passed to you. When something sells, seal its condition record and ship it within 3 days. When the money is released your share goes to your Stripe account, and Stripe pays your bank on its daily schedule — usually about two business days later. A release waits while Stripe has not finished verifying you, while a case against you is open, and for 90 days after a chargeback or reversal on your account.
A trade swaps items, with or without cash on top. Once an offer is accepted, whoever has finished fewer deals on Selivont ships first — on a tie, the one who made the offer — and has 3 days to seal and post; the other side's 3 days start when that parcel is delivered, which the carrier's tracking marks, or the receiver does. Each side buys its own tracked label. Either side can back out until both condition records are sealed; after that, a missed deadline opens a case. A straight trade holds no money, because none is charged — what protects you is the shipping order and the two sealed records. Where a trade includes cash on top, the payer pays it by card within 24 hours of the yes and it is held like a sale; nothing is sealed or posted until it clears, and if it never arrives the trade is called off and nothing is owed.
Hosting needs 18+ on your ID. A winning bid is a purchase: pay at checkout within 15 minutes or the win lapses and nothing is charged. A bid in the last 10 seconds puts 10 seconds back on the clock. When a lot sells, the last minute of the host's stream is saved as a public clip on that listing.
Once a trade settles, each side can rate the other — one rating each way, even when a swap is two orders. A rating can be corrected for 24 hours after it is left; after that it stands. A refunded order can be rated 1 to 3 stars, because the trade did not go through.
Every fee, with its numbers, is under WHAT IT COSTS on this page. The fees on an order are the ones shown at checkout, and a fee change never reaches an order already placed.
Before the seller seals the condition record, either side can cancel. If the seller cancels, the buyer gets every cent back. If the buyer cancels, everything comes back except card processing and the fixed part of buyer protection. Once the record is sealed the order stands — except that on a local pickup the seller can still call the hand-over off, with a full refund. An accepted offer is an order like any other.
If a buyer's bank reverses a payment, or a refund is made after the money was released to you, you owe back what you were paid on that order — or the refunded share of it. It comes out of your next sales before anything else is paid to you, and until it is repaid you cannot post new listings. If you win the chargeback, the amount is given back.
When somebody opens a listing from your clip and buys it within 7 days, and the order is released, 20% of the seller fee on it is yours — out of Selivont's fee, so the seller pays nothing more. A clip of your own listing earns nothing extra. It is paid to your Stripe account 14 days after the order is released, once payouts are set up there. It waits for the same things a seller's release waits for, and while a chargeback on the sale is being decided.
If part of the sale goes back to the buyer before it is paid, the commission shrinks by the same share, and if all of it does, nothing is paid. After it is paid, a refund or a chargeback decided for the buyer means you owe back the same share; it comes out of your next commission or sale before anything else is paid to you. A commission on a clip a moderator takes down, or on an account that is closed or banned, is not paid.
Commissions are income, and tax on them is yours to work out. When a year's commissions reach $2,000, we file a Form 1099 for them with the details you gave Stripe, and you get a copy.
Rebates, referral shares and late-ruling credits are recorded as credits in your wallet. Credits are not money: they cannot be withdrawn, spent or transferred, and they are not paid out today — if that changes, this page will say how before it happens.
Selibux, the old play-money balance, has been retired, along with the daily spin and The Case. It never had a cash value and nothing replaces it. No prize draw is running; if one ever does, its rules will be published before it opens.
You keep ownership of what you post — photos, videos, condition records, clips, listings, reviews and messages. You let Selivont host, show, copy and resize it to run the site, and keep it where an order, a case or the law needs it (a sealed condition record stays with its order). Post only what you have the right to post.
No taking a deal off Selivont to skip the fees or the protection — links and payment handles do not send in messages for that reason. No shill bids or offers, fake reviews, trading with yourself, or farming badges, referrals or rewards. No harassment, threats, hate or sexual content, and nothing aimed at minors. No scraping, bots, or attempts to break or overload the site. Report what you see with ⚑.
We can pull listings, hide clips and comments, hold money while a case is open, rule on cases, and suspend or close accounts — for fraud, safety, a broken rule, or a legal reason. Money already held follows the release and refund rules, whatever happens to the account.
You can close your account in Settings once nothing is owed either way: no order still running, no open case, no money held, nothing owed back. Closing takes down your listings, trade ads, wants and clips, withdraws your offers, removes your profile and pictures and signs you out everywhere. Records of orders, payments, cases, reviews and messages are kept, because the other side of each trade, the tax rules and any chargeback still need them. Settings can download a copy of your data first.
Selivont is provided as it is. We do not make, own or authenticate what is listed, and we do not promise the site will always be up or free of errors. Where the law allows, Selivont is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid Selivont in the 12 months before it. If a claim is brought against Selivont because of what you listed, sold, posted or did against these terms, you cover it. Nothing here takes away a consumer right the law does not let us limit.
Florida law governs these terms. A dispute between you and Selivont goes to the state or federal courts in Florida, though either of us can use small claims court instead. A dispute between traders goes through the case process first. A ruling is final on Selivont; it does not take away any right you have with your bank or under the law.
When these terms change, the version and date at the top change with them, and you will be asked to agree to the new version before you can keep buying, selling or trading. An order runs under the terms in force when it was placed. If one part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies, and not enforcing a rule once does not waive it. We send notices by email and on the site.
